Workflow — Magnetic Cell Separator
1. Antibody Incubation
Add the specific antibody to the cell suspension and incubate at 4 °C for 10–15 minutes. This step ensures that the target cells are properly labeled with the antibody for selective binding.
2. Microbeads Incubation
Introduce the magnetic microbeads to the antibody-labeled cell suspension and incubate again at 4 °C for 10–15 minutes. The microbeads attach to the antibody-tagged cells, enabling magnetic separation.
3. Magnetic Separation
Insert the separation column into the magnetic cell separator and carefully load the prepared cell suspension.
The magnetic field retains the labeled cells inside the column, while unlabeled cells pass through, allowing clean separation.
4. Elution of Positive Cells
Remove the column from the magnetic field and add the appropriate buffer to elute the positively selected cells. The recovered cells are now purified and ready for downstream applications such as flow cytometry, cell culture, or molecular assays.
