PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS:

Grout Restoration:

• See Problem Solving for complete detail and options for bad grout stains
• Product provides easier removal of surface stains
• If necessary, can be used stronger to remove the top layer of the grout itself to reveal the unstained grout below. This technique may cause some color or texture change - test first.
• Caution: white and color pigmented grouts are more sensitive to color change then natural gray grout when using a cleaner this strong. You might want to try "Insta-Clean" first. "Insta-Clean" breaks down oil, grease, food, etc. stains quite well without effect to grout or materials.
• Aldon cleaners are far stronger than what is available in supermarkets. Supermarket cleaners are for very light cleaning.
• If the grout has had a sealer on it, that sealer must be removed before using this product. "Grout Restoration" must make contact with the unsealed grout in order to function. To remove a sealer, see Aldon

Cleaning showers, swimming pool tile, spa tile, etc.:

• Use for difficult stains, mineral deposit buildup, iron and rust stains. If there is extra heavy buildup of minerals that requires a very aggressive product, test Aldon

ITEMS OF INTEREST: This product is:

• This product is for the restoration of severely stained grout where the grout has actually undergone a permanent color changing permanent stain. For situations where you are just removing staining materials (oils, dirts, greases, etc.) you do not need a cleaner this aggressive. For a less aggressive alternative, please review Insta-Clean
• A phosphoric acid mixture with other buffering and special cleaning components.
• This product is not used to remove sealers. For that purpose, see Premium Stripper.
• A concentrate that is diluted with water.
• Not just for tile and grout. Use on glass block, glass shower doors, even windows with heavy mineral deposits.
• For marble and limestone - using too strong could dull the surface. However, there is no other practical way to remove hard water deposits. Therefore, fully dilute per label instructions and test a small area first.
• Can be used less aggressively when just removing soap scum.
• See the product label reproduction below for all the information on surface preparation, application technique, drying time, etc. This label reproduction will always be the most current. Because we are constantly improving information and passing on tips from users, this could be more up to date than the label on the container.

If you do not see the results you expect:

It is not a problem with the product! (They all do what we say they do!)

1. Your conditions may have been misdiagnosed! (It can happen, even with all the information we provide.)
2. The surface conditions (absorption rate, contaminants, temperatures, etc.) are other than thought.
3. And/or - it was not applied per label instructions! (The instructions are designed to overcome items 1 and 2 above, and overcome job conditions of which you might not be aware.)
