There are two things that create slow page downloads:

1.
Your Internet Service Provider is encountering heavy traffic. On your browser - Click the "Stop" button and then click the "Refresh" (Reload) button. This will start it over again and will usually improve the speed.

OR

2.
Your computer is loaded with old pages in "cache" memory. Clearing this can speed things up greatly.

For Internet Explorer:  Click the following sequence -
TOOLS / INTERNET OPTIONS
under TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES / DELETE FILES / DELETE ALL OFFLINE CONTENT / OK

For Firefox: Click the following sequence-
TOOLS / CLEAR PRIVATE DATA
(private data refers to old temporary page files, not your passwords, bookmarks, or other things you want to keep.)
