There are a couple of reasons that a page comes up blank:

A possible cause - Popup's are disabled on your browser. This is the most common cause of a blank page.  We use the little popup information windows extensively on the web site. Some browsers now have popups disabled automatically because they are also used for unsolicited advertising and are annoying. This is mostly found with Internet Explorer 7.  Many web sites use the same script tools that we do and that IE 7 is blocking with its default setting.

Solution - Enable popups.  You will see a tan bar running across the page right above our web page.  On the bar is an exclamation point symbol and the words "To help protect your security......." .  Click on that bar and select "Allow blocked content".   This will enable our information windows to pop up on your screen.

So that you do not have to do that with each page, this is from the Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 help menu: To turn Pop-up Blocker on or off In Internet Explorer,

  • click the Tools button
  • and then click Pop-up Blocker.
  • Do one of the following: To turn off Pop-up Blocker, click Turn Off Pop-up Blocker. To turn on Pop-up Blocker, click Turn On Pop-up Blocker.

Another possible cause - Our server might have been overloaded at that second. Or, the server owned by the company that provides your internet service might have been overloaded at that second.  When you click on a link, the browser looks on your computer before going to the internet.  If you have a bad download, the browser continues to show that bad page.

Solution - Click the "Reload / Refresh" button on your browser.  That forces the browser to download a new page from our server.
