Order shipment in process Inquiry

This page is not for a problem creating or placing your order.  It is not for a question about your project.  Back up one page for those.  This page is designed to address only questons relating to the actual shipment of your order.

Note: If you received a cancellation notice from the shipping company,

your order was not cancelled. It only means that the warehouse made an error entering your address into the system, the process had to be cancelled, then done again. You will be receiving another email from the shipping company a few minutes after the cancellation that has the final tracking number.

If your order has not been received or only part was received.

All orders are shipped complete and the same day if the order is received by noon warehouse time on a business day (Monday - Friday). After noon, they are shipped the next business day. As most of the country is in the one day shipping zone from the closest warehouse, two days is usually the longest it takes to receive your shipment.

Here are some possibilities of what might have happened:

  • You did not select the closest warehouse on the map and that added another 1-5 days to the transit time.
  • The carrier lost or damaged the shipment.  Rare, but it has happened.  Sometimes they deliver the undamaged portion, but not the damaged.  Unfortunately, the carrier does not notify us that this has occurred for weeks.  However, we will take care of it as soon as you or they advise us.
  • The order was never actually submitted due to some service problem with your internet service provider.  If you saw the confirmation page after you submitted the order, then we did receive it and neither did the warehouse receive it.  Check you credit card for that time period to confirm the order was actually placed.

When you placed the order, you would have received an email with a tracking number direct from the shipper.  What is that tracking number?

If you did not get the carrier email and tracking number?

Then you might not get our reply either.  You probably have a spam filter on your computer (or your internet service provider) that blocks emails from any source you have not listed.  To hear from the carrier you would have had to allow emails from @ups.com and @fedex.com.  To hear from us, you need to allow emails from @aldonchem.com.
